Being a board member is a rewarding and challenging volunteer position. Taking a board position is a two year commitment. All board members must pass a background check. The board meets year round for at least 2 hours a month. Each board member represents an important tenet of business for GYFA.

- Order Honey Buckets for High School and Dexter
- Schedule practice fields
- Field greeter: set up field, unlock crow's nest, help with snack shack (water hook-up), keep track, clear and tear down field.
- Order coaches gear
- Attend district meetings when President is unable

- Attend monthly meetings
Secretary (Filled)
- Keep accurate records of all GYFA meetings
- Prepare and distribute all correspondence regarding GYFA meetings and business as appropriate
- Assist the Registrar with player sign ups and other tasks as needed by the Registrar
- Coordinate & set up meeting space as needed
- Serve as Field Greeter and work Snack Shack as needed and/or available
- Maintain knowledge of the MHC bylaws

Officials Coordinator (Filled)
- Recruit officials
- Coordinate scheduling in classroom referee training with MHC Officials Coordinator
- Proctor officials testing prior to official's classroom testing.
- Coordinate on field training
- Submit all concussion certificates that officials complete online to MHC Officials Coordinator
- Order officials gear and maintain inventory
- Create official's schedule and coordinate coverage for any absences
- Submit Payroll for on field officials to MHC every 2 weeks
- Submit Payroll to GYFA Treasurer to pay all officials every 2 weeks, on field training, concussion training and in classroom training and coordinate picking those checks up and giving to referees
- Attend majority of home football games to manage the officials and make sure everyone is in attendance and in right positions on the field and clock
- Obtain signed score sheets from head coaches after every game and submit to MHC every Saturday night
- Coordinate/help other associations if they need extra officials

- Put together books for book verification (including pictures on player's contract, collecting all coaches contracts, certifications, etc)
